ABOUT TAMESIDEThe opening of the M60 in 2000 has already had a great and positive impact on the local economy, with activity and interest at an all time high. Tameside is the place to do business east of Manchester….the next big success story. The Borough of Tameside is located 7 miles to the east of Manchester bordering Oldham, High Peak, Manchester and Stockport. Tameside covers 40 square miles and has nine towns within its boundary. Each town enjoys a unique character of its own making Tameside a genuinely diverse place to visit and do business. Tameside forms part of the Greater Manchester sub region.
